Doosan Bobcat is hiring! We have career opportunities for Material Handlers to join our Statesville, NC team!

No manufacturing experience needed! Doosan Bobcat will provide on-the-job and classroom training for job specific skills, techniques and safe work and equipment operating practices.

The objective of a Material Handler is to transfer material manually by hand, or utilizing a manual pallet jacket or using a lifting device attached to a hoist called out within the standard work.

Role & Responsibility

• Unload and stack material by raising and lowering lifting device attached to hoist.
• Load or unload materials onto or off of pallets, skids or lifting device by hand as needed.
• Load parts manually from racks, tubs, and/or bins in warehouse to trays or racks kit carts.
• Maintain safety checks on equipment.
• Use electronic scanner to transact material as needed.

Job Requirement

• A Material Handler must be able to follow established methods and procedures and perform work accordingly. Must have the ability to work rapidly and under time pressure for extended periods of time.
• The ability to communicate with supervisors and fellow workers in both written and verbal forms at a level normally acquired through the completion of high school or equivalent is required.
• Job specific skills, techniques and safe work and equipment operating practices are learned through on-the-job and classroom training.

Schedule:

1st shift: 6:00AM - 2:30PM, Monday-Friday with OT as needed.
