- Responsibilities:
- Work on shears, presses or other jobs as assigned where experience and qualifications meet requirements (see specific duties by section).
- Maintain a clean, safe work area and perform regular cleaning.
- Each lift processed must be inspected three times for damage caused by shear or press and have condition or problem corrected before resuming production.
- Perform measurement and gauge checks on material to ensure that it meets customer requirements.
- Complete computer input, paperwork and document actions taken. 6. Check process card at beginning of shift and at every size/work order change.
- Assist Hilo driver in unpacking and proper placement of material.
- Qualifications:
- Ability to read tape measures is preferred
- Basic math skills are preferred
- Must show up on time, consistently
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- This position is critical to our client’s success. You will be responsible for working on shears, working on presses, maintain a clean workspace, quality checks on products, computer data entry, and assist the Forklift Operators as needed.
