Material Handler Position immediate start! Monday-Friday 8am-5pm $15hr Great Opportunity!

The Material Handler is responsible for identifying, loading, and shipping customer orders in a timely manner. Additionally, the Material Handler will receive new inventory into the warehouse and will assist in inventory control, cycle counts, etc. Job duties include both indoor and outdoor work.

Job Functions:

• Check freight against packing slip during loading/unloading
• Pick items against pick slips with scanners
• Inspect received freight for damages or missing items
• Report any damages or missed items to Supervisor
• Secure packaging for shipping (shrink wrap, band etc.)
• Secure loading in truck (wood, nail gun)
• Tag freight with shipping labels
• Receive merchandise into inventory with scanners
• Pick up parts from Kits area for stock inventory.
• Pick up items from Parts department for Kits inventory.
• Notify Sales groups of receiving and shipping details.
• Responsible for getting drivers to sign shipping documents
• Small package distribution.
• Turn shipping and receiving documents into office throughout the day
• Keep work areas clean and tidy
• Scan documents to be saved in Logistics shared data base.
• Any other duties requested from management

• Ability to operate construction and tractor equipment.

• Ability to manage stress and interact with others.

Ability to work 8+ hours per day in a plant/office setting. Must be able to navigate all areas of the building and facility as needed. May occasionally lift and move up to 50pounds in an office, customer or similar setting. Must be aware of surroundings
