OBJECTIVE: Provides Activities of daily Living (ADL) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADL) services to residents in accordance with the Individual Service Plan (ISP). Assistance includes either physical assistance or standby supervision. Provides support to new resident assistants. May provide some laundry and housekeeping tasks. May act as shift leader as established by community standards
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications: Must demonstrate competency in the following areas: • Must be 18 years of age. • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or three (3) months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and caregiver experience desired. • Preferred to have a valid, unrestricted certification in the state (CNA desired) and maintain CEU’s as required by the State. • CPR and First Aid certification or successfully achieved within 30 days of employment if required by State Standards.
