Massapequa Center Rehabilitation & Nursing is committed to improving our patients' quality of life & autonomy through innovative rehabilitative services, and an exceptional level of client-centered care and attention. We are seeking an enthusiastic MDS Nurse to join our interdisciplinary team of skilled health care professionals at our skilled nursing facility in Amityville! Long Term Care experience required. Candidates must be a current NYS Registered Nurse (RN) and must have prior experience with MDS 3.0.
Job responsibilities include
- Completing accurate assessments, MDS & care plans as assigned.
- Monitors MDS and care planning documentation for all residents; ensures documentation is present in the medical record to support MDScoding.
- Initiating care plans and supporting activities as assigned.
- Maintaining & updating all care plans and assessments as required.
- Monitoring & auditing clinical records, ensuring accuracy & timeliness.
- Protecting the confidentiality of Resident & Facility information at all times.
- Monitoring & auditing clinical records, ensuring accuracy & timeliness.
REQUIREMENTS:
- MUST HAVE PRIOR EXPERIENCE WITH MDS 3.0
- Valid NY State RN License
- Long Term Care Experience Required
- Must be highly organized, professional & motivated
- Should have solid computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Should be friendly and a team worker
