Meat Cutter/Butcher Job at Heritage Foods
Our company is hiring an experienced Meat Cutter to help prepare products for retail sale. The ideal candidate for this position will have prior experience in a fast-paced environment and excellent communication skills. The individual hired will be required to work in a cold environment, using a variety of tools and machines, and must be able to work quickly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Cut carcasses into sections suitable for use in cooking.
- Know how to handle sharp tools and knives.
- Know how to clean, sterilize, and sanitize work area.
- Know how to use various types of knives, cleavers, and other tools.
- Know how to use the meat-cutting saw.
- Perform minor repairs on equipment.
- Know how to use a meat grinder.
- Perform basic tasks related to washing, sanitizing, and packing meat products.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
