Summary
Construction Company is currently seeking an experienced Mechanic to perform routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet, heavy diesel powered concrete pumping equipment. You must have your own basic set of tools and basic testing equipment for electronic gas and diesel engines. We will furnish all air and specialized tools required for the repair of the equipment as well as all cutting and welding equipment and materials in our shop. Salary will be based upon the skill level and experience of the applicant. This position will be available ASAP. We are a EOE employer.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Welding of metal and minor steel part fabrication.
- Electronic diagnostic testing of both engine and truck information system.
- Troubleshooting and problem solving of broken or damaged equipment.
- Basic Hydraulic system knowledge and repair methods.
- Automotive electrical knowledge with experience in electric braking systems.
- Air brake system and DOT safety requirements.
Qualifications and Skills
- 40 / 30 Hour OSHA card is required
- Class A or B CDL License
- DOT Medical Card
