An International Manufacturer is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their Vermont location. They will be collaborating with engineers to design and develop new products, along with improving existing products and production processes.

Mechanical Design Engineer Responsibilities:

• Design mechanical assemblies and components to meet production requirements
• Integrate and incorporate mechanical designs
• Utilize appropriate tools, materials, and processes to meet production requirements
• Perform testing, studies, and documentation of activities to demonstrate compliance with production requirements
• Work closely with production and manufacturing engineering teams to ensure efficient assembly of mechanical designs
• Attend trade shows, meetings, and workshops when needed
• Other job duties are assigned as needed

Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:

• At least 3+ years of mechanical design/engineering
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience with interpretation of mechanical drawings and BOM
• Experience with solid modeling and CAD tools
• While performing the duties of this job, you may be required to type for extended periods throughout the day and intermittently sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk, and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision, as well as, lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
