Aquatech has an immediate need for a fulltime Mechanical Designer to work in Canonsburg, PA office. The hours are Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. The Mechanical Designer will report to the Director of Mechanical Engineering Design and will perform the duties described in the job description below and will be considered an Exempt employee.

The ideal candidate will have creative out of the box thinking, team oriented, customer service oriented, highly organized, and detailed oriented. This candidate will also have experience using different computer platforms using various software programs for design.

Job Description:

Detailed design and drafting based upon process data for piping,

skid and support design for industrial water/wastewater industry.

Provide AutoCAD assistance for various departments

Produce 3D CAD, General Arrangement and Piping Plans and Sections.

Skill Requirements:

• Experience in Piping and or skid design.
• Ability to use AutoCAD at a high level of proficiency.
• 3D Design. If not full training will be provided on Auto-Plant Piping, Structural and Navisworks Jetstream (For 3D plant reviews).
• Ability to use personal computer (MS Word & Excel, Access).
• Experience with mechanical and piping designs and P&ID preparation.
• Proficient in use of MS Office (Word and Excel) and AutoCAD; 3D modeling is desired, but not necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associates Degree (preferred)
• Three (3) or more years of relevant experience.
