FieldBridge Energy is looking for Mechanical Technicians to work in the world's largest producer of compressed and specialty gasses. This position is based in Malta, New York. STARTING PAY RATE FOR DAY SHIFT $21.00/hr.

Schedule: Shift Work

Day and night shift will be open- will discuss during interview. 12 hour shifts. Must be open to all hours AND SHIFTS.

Shifts runs: 3 on, 4 off, and 4 on, 3 off. All shift runs 6:30-6:30 (AM or PM). All candidates need to have the flexibility to work nights.

Initial 3 to 6 month probationary period with limited benefits, after which you can expect to receive full benefits which include:

Please note: You will not use a forklift but will operate a 'Walker-Stacker', Powered Pallet Jacks and other non-powered material handling equipment.

Job Duties:

  • Maintain and operate specialty gas/chemical delivery equipment, including bulk chemical offload/transfers.
  • Perform minor inspections and preventive maintenance on gas/chemical related equipment.
  • Perform minor gas/chemical troubleshooting and repair of delivery equipment.
  • Perform daily rounds including recording readings, completing safety & 5S inspections, monitoring online gas and chemical systems, verifying heat trace operations, and completing chemical tote/drum and gas cylinder change-outs.
  • Monitor and understand correct liquid bulk delivery procedures for each product on site.
  • Assist in the identification and resolution of gas/chemical related semiconductor-manufacturing problems.
  • Restart all high purity gas and/or chemical delivery equipment.
  • Perform minor analytical procedures and/or sampling procedures.

Educational Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED

General Requirements:

  • Evidence of previous work in a successful team environment.
  • Ability to learn, understand and enforce all proper reporting procedures per onsite operations policy.
  • Good electro-mechanical aptitude.
  • Display aptitude for working an emergency/high stress situation and performing problem solving actions properly and safely.
  • Moderate to heavy lifting may be required.
  • Able to work any shift as needed and available for overtime as needed.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience in the semiconductor or chemical/specialty gas field, military technical/electronic rating or nuclear field, or equivalent industry.
  • Ability to wear a respirator as part of required PPE for certain job tasks.

***Must be clean shaven to wear a respirator. With the exception of a mustache or small goatee, the respirator sealing surface must be shaved daily***
