Exciting Job Opportunity as a Medical Assistant at a 2018, 2020 & 2021 Top Place to Work Clinic in Denver.

We are looking for a friendly, energetic, motivated person with 1 year of experience as a medical assistant for the back office at a fast pace and busy Urgent Care Clinic. We are also in need of seasonal (November to April) with potential for permanent position.

As a member of AFC Urgent Care Denver, your contributions will make you proud to serve our communities in the Denver Metro area with this exciting opportunity in a growing 5 Star Urgent Care.

Objective: Triage patients, get patient records and tests; coordinate daily tasks, prepare exams room and assist the physician during patient care

Reports to: Clinic Manager / Physician on Duty / Lead Staff on duty

Primary Responsibilities (including, but not limited to)

• Phlebotomy
• Administer vaccinations
• Escort patient to room
• Take vital signs
• Document patient data
• Assist provider
• Discharge patients from the room with instructions
• Cleanroom
• Ensure patient flow is speedy and organized
• Inventory supplies, replenish supplies when received
• Assist in maintaining equipment
• Ensure cleanliness of patient waiting for the area and front office area
• Greet and register patients

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year experience in the medical office setting
• MA Diploma required, Certification preferred
• Professional appearance
• Team player who is equally comfortable working independently
• Warm, friendly attitude with excellent patient interaction skills
• Team player, excellent verbal and communication skills, adaptable in different situations, possess excellent client interaction skills, able to multi-task and work independently.

We are open 7 days a week and must be flexible to work 12-hour shifts (8 am-8 pm) and weekends (Saturday or Sunday). Salary is dependent on experience.
