We are seeking a qualified applicant to be directly involved in patient care, ensuring safety and contributing to the positive patient experience.

We specialize in reducing or eliminating pain using the latest successful interventional pain management techniques. Our office is seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated Medical Assistant to join our team. Our Medical group is very diverse, own and operate multi-state surgery centers, pain clinics, urgent cares, and PT locations - many opportunities for advancement within the group.

Great pay at mature office open Monday through Friday.

  • Front office check in and check out of patients
  • Data entry
  • Patient file record keeping and coordination
  • Taking vital signs from patients
  • Scheduling procedures based on Input from Doctors and patient file
  • Answer and coordinate inbound/outbound phone calls
  • Order labs, MRI, and all imaging based on doctor requirements.
  • Assist the Dr. with patient care and procedures
  • Pull and file patient charts
  • Assist with facilitating medical records requests
  • Cross train with Medical Assistant to cover check in/out
  • Various clerical duties (i.e.: answering phones, scheduling appointments, handling patient charts, etc.).
  • Performing urine drug screening, and packaging to be sent to our lab.
  • Updating charts with lab reports.
  • Sterilization of instruments
  • Checking SCPMP aware
  • Escorting patients to exam room.
  • Preparing exam rooms
  • Preparing patient for physician (i.e.: histories, blood pressure, vitals, etc.).
  • At the request of the physician, calling in prescription refills
  • Follow up with lab work and/or MRIs.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • MUST BE ABLE TO EXECUTE PRIOR AUTHORIZATIONS
