Medical Assistant/LPN Job at Evergreen Pediatrics
Evergreen Pediatric Clinic is looking to hire a highly motivated, full time and part time support staff (medical assistance, licensed practical nurse and registered nurse) to work with a provider or float as needed. Our office is a growing, fast paced pediatric clinic located in Vancouver Washington.
The position we are looking to fill is 32-40 hours a week. Our office is open from 8:00am to 7:00pm Monday through Friday and from 8:30am-12:30 Saturday and Sunday. Schedule availability in the evenings and weekends is required.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with providers, MAs, LPNs, RNs and administrative staff to provide the best care for our patients
- Administer and document vaccinations with proper technique for pediatric patients
- Obtain and document reliable vital sign measurements
- Obtain and document patient history
- Administer and document various screening procedures
- Appropriately handle, clean and prepare instruments for sterilization
Qualifications:
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
- Love for pediatrics
- Successful completion of your program
- Current BLS from American Heart Association required
- Prior experience in a pediatric medical office preferred
- Conduct themselves in a professional and responsible manner
- Strong work ethic
- Highly motivated
- Detail oriented
- Excellent multitasking skills
- Great communication skills
- Strong computer skills. EPIC EMR is preferred
