Medical Assistant daily role:

• Greeting and rooming patients
• Recording patients vitals
• Updating patient history via EMR/EHR system
• Performing prior authorizations as needed
• Insurance verifications
• Scheduling patient appointments
• Sanitizing and restocking exam rooms

Schedule & Locations:

• Must be comfortable floating between sister offices throughout Hartford County
• Floating will depend on other offices schedules (PTO, Vacations, Callouts, etc.)
• 8am - 4:30pm, Must be flexible between hours of 6am-5:30pm depending on providers schedule

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• 6+ months medical assistant experience OR CMA/RMA required
• Must have medical office experience
• EMR/EHR experience required
• Must be comfortable floating between offices in Hartford/Tolland County as needed
