Upbeat Geriatrics visiting practice seeking a lively in office Triage Medical Assistant full time. TEMPORARILY REMOTE (Colorado Applicants)
Job Description: Very busy geriatrics practice seeking to add a Medical Assistant to our triage team. This position has zero patient contact. Our providers need our support to triage all incoming calls, paperwork and faxes. The position is to work from home after 1 week of in office training in Colorado at our Golden Office.
Job Duties:
- Working directly with providers in the field
- Answering Phones
- Medication Records Request
- Lab Request
- Refill Request
- Referrals
- Maintaining Lab orders that have been sent by providers and track results.
- Contacting providers directly for critical matters
- Medication/Referral Prior Authorizations
- Miscellaneous duties assigned
Qualifications:
- MA Cert Preferred
- EMR background
- Clinical Office Experience
- Microsoft background/education
- Google background/education
Shift:
- 2 Positions open for: Thurs-Sun: 10P-8A (four 10's), Mon-Fri: 8A-430P
- Remote after 1-2 weeks of in office training
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
