Medical Assistant Outpatient willing to train Job at Vibra Healthcare
The Certified Medical Assistant is clinical position which provides medical and surgical assistance to the Occupational Medicine physician, performs certain clinical functions independently, maintains inventory of medications and supplies, and ensures smooth patient flow in the clinic. This position does provide direct patient care. In addition the Medical Assistant is cross trained to some functions of the Clinic Scheduler and provides support to that position.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of a medical assisting program or the equivalent “on the job training’ experience.
- Competency with computer and Microsoft Suite programs is required. Fluent in Spanish preferred.
- Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
- CPR certification required.
- A minimum of two years medical office experience is preferred.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It’s not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $18.16 to $22.14.
Per California Health Care Worker Vaccine Requirements, all employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or be approved for a valid religious or medical exemption.
