MEDICAL BILLER JOB DESCRIPTION:

Will provide insurance billing services for mental health and substance abuse recovery programs. This includes perform VOBs, pre-authorizations, utilization reviews, creating and submitting claims, claims follow-up, and responding to denials.

MEDICAL BILLER JOB DUTIES:

• Perform posting charges
• Perform completion of claims to payers
• Conduct duties in a professional and timely fashion
• Submit billing data to the appropriate insurance providers
• Process claims
• Resolve denial instances
• Other duties as required

MEDICAL BILLER JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have 6 months previous medical billing experience
• Reliable and professional demeanor
• Effective communication skills
• Basic computer skills, such as sending emails, typing, and using spreadsheets
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Work independently
• Collaborate well with others
• Must have a HSD or equivalent
• Must speak English

MEDICAL BILLER WAGE: $18.00 - $21.00/hr

MEDICAL BILLER SHIFT:

• Day Shift: Monday to Friday | 8:00AM to 5:00PM
