JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Medical billing with Insurance Account Receivables
- Coordination and evaluation of billing and collection activities
- Monitoring patient accounts
- Working with payers through claim processing to ensure accurate reimbursement
- Ensuring collections are accurate and up to date
- Payment posting
- Working appeals and claim adjudication
- Analyzing financials of practice
Qualified Candidates MUST HAVE:
- 1 years minimum of experience as a medical biller or in collections
- Experience working with ICD-9 and CPT Codes
- Working knowledge of medical insurance & medical terminology
- Working knowledge of private practice billing
- Good understanding of Medicare and Workers Compensation
- Strong organization skills
- Proficiency in various kinds of billing software
- Strong skills on the computer
- Ability to analyze financials and make presentations to providers
