Evangelical Community Hospital seeks to hire a full-time Medical Laboratory Scientist to work nights with our team in Lewisburg, PA!

We are offering a $10,500 recruitment incentive with three-year employment commitment!

MEDICAL LAB SCIENTIST RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs tests on patient specimens using techniques in chemistry, hematology, serology, immunology, bacteriology, and immunohematology to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease and to prepare blood products for transfusion

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's of Science degree in Medical Laboratory Science required. Or, must otherwise meet personnel requirements as outlined in Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment.
• Applicants must be a certified Medical Technologist or Medical Technician by ASCP or other nationally recognized accrediting agency. Or, applicant must achieve certification within the first 12 months of employment.
• Must be able to pass color discrimination test.

Pennsylvania state police criminal record check, child abuse history clearance and an FBI criminal history check required.
