Marijuana Care Clinic is a locally owned and operated, risk-free, Medical Marijuana Recommendation Clinic that is committed to providing the highest quality care and service to all qualifying medical marijuana patients in and around Orlando and Clermont interested in pursuing the medical benefits of marijuana. We are looking for a physician to evaluate and certify new and renewing patients for their Florida medical marijuana certifications. Our clinic is fully staffed with an administrative team and has its own policies in place. The physician will evaluate each patient individually, ensure they qualify by reviewing medical records provided by the patient, give each patient a personalized treatment/recommended plan, and maintain high quality customer service. Since Marijuana Care Clinic focuses on customer service and education, we are looking for a physician that can provide that for our patients.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Be an advocate for patients seeking to use medical marijuana as part of their treatment plan
• Prescribe/Recommend medical marijuana and/or low THC and provide comprehensive instructions for administration
• Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion for patients
• Collaborate with compliance to ensure Marijuana Care Clinic is compliant with federal rules, regulations, and codes
• Ensure timely completion and signing of state required forms
• Ensure clinical governance standards are maintained
• Review patient's existing medical records/history
• Verify patient's qualifying medical condition
• Perform physical as required by state
• Create personalized treatment plans and recommend products based of patients preferences, medical records, and prescribed medications.
• See patients in effective manner of time
• Must have current Medical License in Florida
• No prior Medical Marijuana Experience required but preferred.
• Ability to utilize technology, specifically in-house EMR system (DrChrono)

Education and Experience:

• MD/DO license to practice in Florida
• DEA & Controlled Substance License
• Completion of Florida 2-hour medical marijuana course for Physicians
• Significant knowledge in medical marijuana, diseases and medical conditions

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Strong computer and electronic record skills
• Excellent managerial and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Excellent bedside manner

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $40,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• No weekends
