JOB DESCRIPTION:
Premier HealthCare, a member of the YAI Network, is seeking a part-time Medical Receptionist at our outpatient medical facility in Brooklyn, NY.
Responsibilities:
- Front desk duties, including greeting and interacting with patients with disabilities and their families.
- Answer telephone calls on a multi-line system.
- Manage a busy waiting room.
- Schedule patient appointments both over the phone and in person.
- Confirm appointments.
- Coordinate transportation for patients.
Requirements:
- High School degree or equivalent required; College preferred
- Experience in an outpatient medical facility a plus
- Previous receptionist experience
- Experience with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred
- Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred
Payrate: $16.00 an hour
