AdaptHealth is a respiratory medical equipment company seeking an energetic, hardworking Respiratory Therapist, Registered Nurse or medically inclined professional with a knack for understanding clinical information for a full-time sales & marketing position specializing in Non-Invasive Mechanical Ventilation. This is an outside sales position calling on physicians and hospitals. Territory covered will be Kalamazoo,MI to Fort Wayne ,IN and surrounding areas.

The ideal candidate for this multi-tasking sales & marketing position shall reside in/near Kalamazoo/Fort Wayne, demonstrate strong communication skills, strong work ethic, professionalism, and computer proficiency. Must be able to work in a dynamic fast paced work environment.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Proficient in medical terminology
• Able to understand and communicate clinical knowledge to medical professionals and staff
• Must be able to operate a computer and have working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle required
• Must be kind and empathetic with patients
• Must be detail-oriented and be able to respond appropriately to disruptions in routine
• Licensed Respiratory Therapist, Registered Nurse with NIV experience and knowledge is preferred
• Oxygen, PAP, NIV & DME equipment knowledge is preferred
• Experience in field marketing and calling on medical facilities, physicians, and staff is a plus
• Self-motivated and able to work independently

Job Responsibilities:

• Identifies, contacts, and builds relationships with referral sources
• Maintains regular contact with referral sources with information regarding guideline changes, products, and services
• Develops and maintains working knowledge of home equipment, insurance guidelines, eligibility, and reimbursement for patients
• Responsible for growth of the patient base
• Responsible for increasing revenue
• Assist AdaptHealth in meeting its growth and financial goals
• Comply with all federal, state and local regulations
• Occasional overnight travel for sales training and sales meetings

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to handle stressful situations for short periods of time.
