Medical Scheduler/Receptionist Job at Family & Personal Counseling
Scheduler/Receptionist for busy Mental Health Counseling Practice.
Part-time Virtual office opportunity but must live in the Long Island area for occasional in office meetings.
Hours will be 2pm-6pm Monday-Thursday and 1pm-5pm on Friday.
Family & Personal Counseling has five locations in greater Long Island Area - Bohemia, East Islip, Levittown, Maspeth and St. James. All in a unique virtual office setting where the administrative work is done from the comfort of your home office. Join one of Long Island's best administrative teams!
Primary responsibilities include:
- Answering phones
- Benefit verifications
- Patient registration
- Scheduling
- Additional administrative and clerical duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years Medical or Counseling office experience scheduling patients.
- Excellent communication skills and experience with Microsoft Office.
- Outstanding customer relations and phone etiquette.
- High Speed Internet and newer computer.
- Good organizational and Time Management skills.
- Quiet area in home without background noise during all work hours.
- Familiar with Medical/Mental Health terminology.
*Pay rate determined based upon experience. Job may evolve into full-time for the right candidate.
