MEMBER SERVICES REPRESENTATIVES / TELLERS

From $18/hour !

Previous teller experience highly preferred but will train the right candidate.

MUST PASS CRIMINAL BACKGROUND, CREDIT CHECK & DRUG SCREEN.
MUST have SOLID WORK HISTORY - Job hoppers will not be considered.

Must be OUTGOING, and Conversational. Sales background preferred.

MUST be willing to work at ANY of our 5 Louisville branches. (Bardstown Road, Middletown, Downtown, Okolona, Dixie Hwy)

Provide various financial services to current and prospective members of the Credit Union.

• Identify the financial needs of themembers and suggest an appropriate Credit Union solution. Cross-sell appropriate products and services to benefit the member and achieve sales goals set forth by the Credit Union.
• Build and maintain strong member relationships by providing prompt, reliable and courteous service when assisting members with financial transactions and services.
• Perform routine member transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, loan payments, transfers, and check cashing.
• Open new accounts and service existing accounts. Set up new account files and provide members with all necessary membership information.
• Maintain an up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge of all credit union products and services. Maintain an up-to date and comprehensive knowledge on all related policies and procedures, rules and regulations, including robbery procedures.
• Balance cash drawer at the end of the shift and compare totals to core processor totals. Research and resolve discrepancies. Report any discrepancies to immediate supervisor and VP/Operations.
• Participate in Call Center call queue as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma required.
• Previous teller experience highly preferred . Lending experience is a Plus.
• Sales experience preferred.
• Maintain a consistently positive, helpful attitude with internal and external members. Act with a sense of urgency to resolve issues and provide outstanding service. Must be service driven.
• Present a polished, professional image regarding conduct and appearance.
• Communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with members and co-workers.
• Ability to proficiently use a personal computer and applicable software employed by the Credit Union.
• Ability to cross-sell Credit Union products and services effectively and accurately.
• Ability to handle multiple and/or hanging priorities simultaneously.

Physical Demands:

• The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
• The employee is required primarily to sit, and occasionally stand, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• The employee shall have the ability to occasionally lift bagged coin (approx. 25 pounds).

Work Environment:

• This job operates in a professional office and banking environment. This role may routinely use standard office equipment such as, but not limited to computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
