What You Will Do as a Merchandiser

As a merchandiser you will develop products that exceed customer’s expectations. This role is responsible for supporting and executing the functions necessary to develop product for uniform programs and the maintenance of assigned product lines.

How You Will Make a Difference:

  • Creates and maintains all product level data for the lifecycle of the garment from product set up to deletion from the product line
  • Maintains flow of product requests for cost and development as specified
  • Maintains all relevant data in the appropriate tracking system
  • Effectively communicates all product level information to all internal stakeholders; fosters and maintains relationships and communication flow
  • Gathers and prepares presentation materials for customer and / or internal meetings, to include samples, reports, etc.
  • Executes specific projects as assigned, according to the agreed upon timeline

Skills for Success

  • Preferred Years of Related Professional Experience: 1+
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience in apparel manufacturing or merchandising
  • Self-motivated, can accomplish objectives without close supervision
  • Strong communication skills (oral, presentation, written, interpersonal)
  • Accuracy: attention to detail, strong organizational skills, with strong sense of urgency
  • Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, respond effectively to multiple demands, and balance / prioritize competing needs to meet objectives and deadlines
  • Knowledge of garment construction, fabric development, fabric and garment care is preferred
  • Travel may be required; amount varies

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
