Network Manager - Information Systems - Full Time / Days Job at Gadsden Regional Medical Center
Manages Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) and associated resources of the enterprise, and the hardware and devices connected to the Network. Designs, installs, supports, and monitors individual Local Area Networks and Wide Area Network. Assists in supporting, monitoring and planning of the organizations Enterprise Network. Supervises PC Technicians. Assists users in the evaluation and selection of specialized departmental and organization wide applications. Make recommendations, install and/or coordinates the installation of computer hardware, computer software and communications devices. Maintains a knowledge of current state of the art computer technology and applies this technology, wherever possible, to current and future computer systems. Designs, develops, and maintains comprehensive systems documentation. Provides training/leadership for Computer Operations and Support Staff.
Education REQUIRED : Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field. Directly related experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirements.
Experience REQUIRED : Five years experience in an information systems environment, including at least two years as a Systems Analyst. A working knowledge of one or more high level programming languages such as RPG or COBOL. Experience in a Health Care environment. Cisco wired and wireless infrastructure. Microsoft server operating systems, DAS and NAS systems, VMware.
