Your contributions to the team help make our guests feel welcomed from the moment they first encounter your genuine smile and helpful attitude, especially in those overnight hours. You overseeing the auditing, posting and balancing of daily financial transactions to support thee hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest experience.


General Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Audit, post and balance daily cashiers' work and compiles information for hotel's financial records
  • Post room charges and room taxes to guests' accounts. Processes guest credit card payments
  • Verifies all posting and balances
  • Prepare summary of cash, check, and credit card activities, reflecting the hotel's financial performances for the day
  • Prepares and sends daily operations reports to management
  • Generally, as likely the only staff member working at the hotel during the night shift, be cognizant of possible security and maintenance issues that may affect the guests and hotel.
  • Acts as MOD in the absence of the AGM/GM

Other General Requirements of the position:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous hotel-related experience preferred not must
  • Opera PMS System preferred not must will train
  • Accounting background preferred
  • Strong communication, organizations, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of proper telephone skills
  • Knowledge of principles, values and processes for providing superior guest experience
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and be detailed oriented
  • Ability to understand and adhere to proper credit, check casing and cash handling policies and procedures
  • Ability to understand principles of auditing, balancing, and closing out accounts
  • Ability to stand for extended period of time across and entire work shift
  • Skilled in the us of front office equipment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
