Manages and Coordinates all warehouse shipping activities, operations, and staff to ensure conformance to establish procedure: implements practices that improve the effectiveness and financial performance of the supply chain.

Essential Duties and responsibilities:

· Manages all shipping activities in support of manufacturing operations including but not limited to receiving, sorting, picking, and shipping product.

· Reviews, analyze, modifies, and implements efficient and effective department processes, policies, and procedures.

· Maintains strict inventory control.

· Ensures accurate and timely shipments and receipts.

· Enforces established safety guidelines; promotes a safe workplace.

· Maintains accurate records and metrics, audits as necessary.

· Establishes and maintains professional communication with employees and customers.

· Identifies, documents, and implements opportunities for continuous improvement.

· Maintains a working knowledge of all operating systems pertaining to the work area.

· Trains, supervises, motivates, and develops shipping staff; manages scheduled and workflow.

· Assigns duties and monitors quality of work; ensures staff conforms to organizational policies and procedures and government regulations.

· Provides day-to-day guidance and oversight of subordinates; activity works to promote and recognize performance.

· Keep up to date on overall activities of the team, identifying problem area and taking corrective actions.

· Performs other duties as assigned by manager.

· Supervises shipping staff.

Minimum Education
Bachelor's degree (B.A. /B.S.) in related field preferred or four years related experience or equivalent.

This is a direct-hire position with a well-established Skagit Valley processing plant. Excellent benefit package.

Salary range: $68-$72K a year
