Pay: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour

Founded in 2017, Specialty Infusion has established 6 outpatient infusion centers in the Northeast region with plans of expanding into 10 additional sites in new territories. We offer state-of-the-art ambulatory infusion centers in an alternative site of care from the traditional hospital-based treatment. Requirements

• Patient-centric personality with at least 2 (two) years of experience in healthcare and infusing medication
• Credentialed with Medicared and Medicare
• Certificate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with board certification
• Previous knowledge of EMR systems
• Weekend availability, flexibility to work long hours
• Must be computer savvy and learning capacity to navigate various software
• Must work well under pressure
• Patience, Enthusiasm & Excellent Customer Service Skills
• HIPAA understanding
• Great References

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Oversee daily clinical operations of the center.
• Review referrals and oversee infusion treatment in collaboration with the prescriber to provide the best treatment possible.
• Administer the infusion including inserting IV, mixing medication, and monitoring patient safety throughout.
• Act as the liaison between the Infusion Center and other prescribers, while also working directly with patients.
• Identify urgent and emergent situations and intervene appropriately.
• Support compliance reporting through rigorous clinical notes.
• Educate patients on topics such as disease, process, medication, and compliance.
• Always safeguarding and maintaining patient confidentiality by abiding by company policy and HIPAA regulation.
