Essex Inpatient Physicians (EIP) is a private group of providers caring for patients in skilled nursing facilities and specialty hospitals in New England. We have an opening for a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in two skilled nursing facilities in Framingham and Natick, MA. In this position you will treat a variety of patients including complex medical conditions and those needing rehabilitative care. Our priority is to provide high-quality long-term and post-acute care.

About you
- Possess strong clinical skills and demonstrate competency in providing comprehensive health care including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment
- Flexibility and organizational skills to work autonomously
- Participate in shared call coverage
- 1+ years of experience in a post-acute care or hospitalist setting as an NP or PA, or previous RN or LPN experience in a SNF setting
- Valid license to practice as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in MA
- Valid DEA and Mass Controlled license
- Proven skills, knowledge base, and judgment necessary for independent clinical decision making
- Excellent organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
- Night and weekend call shared equitably from home
- Ability to function effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to type adequately for maximal use of the group EHR
- Daily and weekly rounding schedules are flexible
- Live within 30 minutes of Natick and Framingham
- Work RVU compensation model
- Health and Dental – 70% paid by group, 30% paid by employee
- 401k + approx. 3.5% match
