MPOWERHealth is seeking a Part-Time Nurse Practitioner to join our team and provide high quality virtual care to patients with musculoskeletal issues. This is a hybrid position (onsite and remote) reporting to our office in Dallas as needed.   • Part-Time - Monday-Friday - 4 hours a day

Responsibilities:
Clinical
  • Functions independently to perform a broad range of services including, but not limited to the following:
    • Patient assessment
    • Diagnosing and treating health conditions
    • Prescribe medications appropriately
    • Patient education
  • Provide patient centered clinical care in a telemedicine setting
  • Knowledge of current clinical practices and standards
  • Document encounters appropriately in EMR system
  • Maintain current knowledge of medical procedures and treatment, including participating in professional development activities and maintaining professional affiliations.
Teamwork
  • Ability to work effectively with other team members including
    • Clinical Staff
    • Physicians
    • Management
    • Outside Business Partners
  • Communicate effectively with team members, patients, and patient family members
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information, following strict security and HIPAA regulations
Qualifications:

Education/Training:

  • Must have excellent computer skills, specifically MS Office, and EMR
  • Must be a graduate of an Accredited Master/Doctoral Degree Program in Nurse Practitioner Studies for NPs.
  • Must possess current APRN Texas license
  • Valid CPR certification
  • Minimum 2 years of experience; orthopedic preferred

  • Experience with basic desktop software, medical practice management, and electronic medical record systems
