Responsibilities:
- Oversee emergency department operations, including; patient care plan administration and delegation of the nursing team responsibilities
- Manage, develop and mentor the Emergency Department nursing team
- Report to the CNO and System ED director to help decrease staff scheduling gaps, increase patient throughput and help to create efficient workflows between the ED and other units
- Assess current emergency patient service line and implement improvements for the ratio of treated to untreated patients, reference system, and overall patient experience
- Develops and manages the ER operating budgets
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Licensed Registered Nurse RN in the state of OH
- 6+ years of nursing experience in emergency medicine or related fields
- Proven experience with opening new departments and units a plus
