Maple Farm Nursing Center, part of Garden Spot Communities, is currently seeking a Nursing Home Administrator.

Maple Farm Nursing Center offers an innovative model of short and long-term skilled nursing within two warm and welcoming households situated on 66 acres in Akron, PA.

What will I do in this role with Maple Farm?

As a Nursing Home Administrator, supporting the Garden Spot Communities' mission will include the following responsibilities:

• Responsible for the management and function of the Skilled Nursing Households
• Nurtures a person-centered and resident-directed culture, strengthening the ability of the households to grow as an effective home and promoting individual and team learning in the households
• Plan, organize, direct and manage the operations ensuring resident quality of life/care and maintaining regulatory compliance while providing direction, management and leadership for the households
• Responsible for the overall financial operations of the households, meeting (or exceeding) budget goals and assumptions
• Contributes to creating and maintaining a work climate that encourages positive staff morale, motivation and commitment to the mission of the organization.
• Assumes responsibility for a safe, clean environment for residents and team members

What do I need for this role with Maple Farm Nursing?

• Nursing Home Administrator License issued by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
• Ability to cope with the stress of changing and unexpected situations.
• Must have analytical ability in identifying and solving problems.
• Understands management, delegation and motivation of people.
• An understanding of and willingness to live out our mission and values, providing compassionate person-centered care to all residents.
