NURSING SUPERVISOR (APRN) Job at CITRUS HEALTH NETWORK, INC.
Responsibilities
Provide supervision to nursing staff assigned to school sites.
Review documentation of nursing staff and make recommendations accordingly.
Analyze nursing data submitted to ensure accuracy, as well as adherence to program’s performance requirements and outcome measures.
Assist Program Administrator with hiring procedures, as needed.
Ensure nursing staff provide quality care and comply with program guidelines.
Inspect school clinic sites for adherence to JCAHO standards and Program guidelines.
Provide training and guidance to nursing staff at hiring and as needed.
Other duties appropriate to functions delineated under Protocol with CHN and School Health Program.
Minimum Requirements
1. Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited college/university in the United States.
2. Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) License in the state of FL in good standing. Pediatric and Family APRNs preferred.
3. Three years of experience working with pediatric population.
4. One year of supervisory experience or the ability to supervise and guide nursing staff preferred.
5. Ability to communicate effectively with students and parents/caregivers, nursing staff, school staff, and Program Administrator.
6. Computer knowledge and proficiency in order to review progress notes and documented services in the electronic health records utilized by CHN and TCT.
