*Autism Care Partners/City Pro Group Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Job Description* *Job* An Occupational Therapy Assistant, supports the Occupational Therapist in conducting therapy treatments to improve patients’ mobility, physical health and independence with all activities of daily living. Their main duties include helping patients perform exercises or treatment plans, recording a patients’ health progress and collecting patients’ medical history to develop strategic and individualized treatment options. *Our Organization* Autism Care Partners/City Pro is multidisciplinary fast growing homebased practice looking for an individual with an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA/L) license for a full-time, or part-Time position. We offer our providers competitive rates along with full benefits package for our full-time providers. *Mentoring and Training* City Pro Group has a mentoring program in place to support recent graduates or therapy assistants with no pediatric experience. They are paired with a highly experienced OTR/L. Your mentor will support you inside the company with technical, administrative and clinical concerns to help you feel comfortable and do your job well. You will have the opportunity to have a personalized supervision plan where you will have individual meetings with your OTR/L supervisor to discuss challenges and develop best strategies. *Qualifications & Requirements* * Required education for an Occupational Therapy Assistant includes an Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) recognized associate degree. * Current and unrestricted Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure from NYS * Current TB test and Physical * Desire to work with patients in the home setting * Pediatric experience is a plus but not a requirement *Job Responsibilities* * Under direction of an Occupational Therapist implement treatment plans in a play-based approach to clients ages birth to three years of age. * Provide in-home services * Monitor client’s progress and report to Supervisor OT * Provide parent education regarding developmental improvement strategies, so the caregivers can carry it in the home. * Collaborating with multidisciplinary team including: Child Development Specialists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech Language Pathologists, Service Coordinators, Physicians and family. * Support and facilitate each child's progress through developmental milestones, increase opportunities for inclusion and enhance trusted caregiver-child relationships * Utilize effective and professional communication skills * Submit documentation and signatures on a daily basis * Participate in Reflective Supervision as needed

Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
