The firm's Seattle office has an immediate opening for an Office Assistant, reporting directly to the Seattle Office Manager. The position is multi-functional, with responsibility for providing assistance in virtually all of the office's operational areas, including attorney and staff recruiting, facilities, meetings and events coordination, marketing, accounting and security. This role will have a hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Liaise with building management and outside vendors to address facilities issues
  • Coordinate and attend internal employee events (onsite and offsite)
  • Lead the Seattle office Community Service Committee
  • Process invoices and reconcile monthly Visa bill
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding employees
  • Order catering for onsite meetings (only when the receptionist is out)
  • Field employee questions by directing to the appropriate department or policy
  • Provide coverage for Office Manager
Requirements:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Possess superior oral and written communication skills
  • 1+ years of experience working in a law firm or professional services organization
  • Teamwork-oriented with a positive attitude
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills and desire to bring people together and build relationships within the office and outside vendors, including building management
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
The primary location for this job posting is in Seattle. The actual base pay offered will depend upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, level of education, professional certifications and licenses, and work location. The anticipated pay range for this position is as follows: $20.23 - $27.37 per hour.
The compensation for this position may include overtime and a discretionary year-end merit bonus based on performance. We offer a highly competitive salary and benefits package.
