Job Summary

Our ideal Online Ticket Sales Person has a passion for helping people make their vacation experience a memorable one. A sincere love of history and the culture of our cities is helpful.

You will be responsible for effectively managing a large number of inbound calls from both incoming telephone calls and live chat from our websites promptly and selling tour and attraction products and packages. Must be able to handle inquires via both incoming phone calls and chat simultaneous. Your primary task is to make a high energy sells pitch to sell tour and attraction tickets and take reservations based on the knowledge of our products, pricing and the content of all ticket packages. Meeting and exceeding your sales goals will increase your earning potential each month.

Full-Time, Part-Time positions may be available.

Weekends/Holidays Required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Paid training is provided
• A sound knowledge of telephone etiquette with the ability to speak in a clear voice
• Demonstrate accurate typing speed of 40 to 45 words per minute and basic computer skills
• Demonstrate customer service and sales skills
• Ability to learn and memorize details of the tours and attractions we sell.
• Ability to treat people with respect under all circumstances, instill trust in others besides upholding the values of the organization
• Ability to read, write and speak fluent English in order to communicate with fellow CASTmembers and the general public

• Ability to work flexible shifts, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Ability to sit for long periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred
• Friendly with good phone etiquette
• Computer skills & sales experience a plus
