Position Summary:


Pegasus’ Onsite Supervisors are “working supervisors” directed by the Onsite Chief Engineer. Our Onsite Supervisors are responsible for all working matters in the operations of the facilities, directing the operation and maintenance of systems and equipment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Supervise our trades workforce and provide training at the journeyman and apprentice levels.
  • Develops job plans that define resources, performance standards, metrics, frequency, duration, and constraints for each task based on the PWS requirements.
  • Establishes and baselines the work and scheduling, requirements in conjunction with our Production Control Clerks including recurring work such as:
    • Preventive maintenance (PM)
    • Watch standing
    • Service calls
    • Work orders (WO)
    • Special project support and customer support requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of three (3) years of recent (within the past seven (7) years) successful experience in contract management and supervision of building mechanical O&M for buildings of the approximate size of 700,000 square feet for Fort Worth facilities and 150,000 square feet for facilities in West Texas.

Experience:
  • The Onsite Supervisor has experience in scheduling systems and equipment maintenance and repair, managing a team of tradesmen including electricians, HVAC techs and mechanics, and GMWs.
  • Possess the knowledge and experience to supervise the operation, maintenance and repair of phased electrical systems, BAS, and HVAC (Boilers, Chillers, AHUs) in a commercial building.
  • Directing subcontractors and vendors such as water treatment professionals or certified fire protection and life safety systems and equipment.
  • Supervise internal operations, maintenance, and repair services including, but not limited to the service request desk operation and include experience with NCMMS and with facilities designated as Historic by the Historic Building Society and/or contain historic components.
Communication Skills:
  • Must have the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, managers, and staff members.
  • Must have the ability to write reports.
  • Must have the ability to read, write, and comprehend English.

Reasoning Ability:
  • Must have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, fellow employees, and customers.
