SUMMARY

The Professional Innovations Division (PID) develops pioneering products and services for the early childhood workforce, across all settings, sectors, and disciplines. PID provides customized, competency-based professional development products and services to individuals, organizations, and agencies – more than 25,000 professionals each year, worldwide.

The Operations Program Associate works across the division to support its professional learning products and services ultimately enhancing member and client experiences and increasing earned income revenue to advance mission priorities. Specifically, the position works closely with PID Managers and Faculty consultants to support the successful sales and delivery of its professional development that advances diverse, equitable, and inclusive ideas, practices, and careers. This Program Associate is responsible for the execution of operations as assigned, including, but not limited to a primary focus on professional development event prep, delivery, and follow-up; the role provides primary support for faculty consultants and certified and badged trainers. Some of the work takes place throughout the country, at times requiring travel. The ideal candidate has outstanding people and communication skills, is organized, detail-oriented, technologically savvy, and passionate about supporting ZERO TO THREE’s mission.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain professional development delivery scheduling, materials support, tracking, and all related technologies and tasks, through ProofHub, the team’s project management platform
  • Provide customer and technology support for the delivery of primarily virtual and occasional in-person professional development events, including virtual delivery moderation
  • Coordinate the logistics and operations of professional development faculty consultants
  • Work collaboratively with PID Managers and faculty consultants to ensure learner needs are met, including serving as the primary point of contact for certification and badging candidates, ensuring accurate, timely, and thorough assistance
  • Maintain professional development delivery scheduling, materials support, tracking, and all related technologies and tasks, through ProofHub, the team’s project management
  • Contribute to PID’s continuous quality improvement processes by supporting event and professional learning program documentation processes and reporting
  • Manage workflow and tasks effectively in technology systems, prioritizing time-sensitive tasks, and completing work within established time frames
  • Track and contribute to resolving issues, and escalate to PID Managers as appropriate
  • Remain current on and recommend technology-supported efficiencies to Senior Manager of Operations and Client Technologies Manager
  • Provide special project support to the Senior Manager of Operations, and other division leaders as assigned
  • Travel as required for occasional trainings, meetings, and conferences
  • Perform other operational duties as assigned to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the division

EDUCATION

Minimum of an Associate’s degree preferred; equivalent combination of training and experience will be considered

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is frequently required to use finger dexterity as well as sufficient hand dexterity to use a computer keyboard and be capable of reading a computer screen. Also, may need to remain seated for long periods of time, have the ability to perform repetitive motions, and hear well enough to detect nuances and receive detailed information. The employee may be required to walk, grasp objects, push or pull objects, bend, squat, reach, stand, or kneel. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision for preparing and analyzing data.

WORKING CONDITIONS

The work conditions described here is representative of those an employee encounters while performing this job. The employee is expected to travel and will be exposed to outside environmental conditions during those times. The incumbent typically works indoors in a heated and air-conditioned office, with a mixture of natural, incandescent and fluorescent light with low to moderate noise levels. #LI -remote
