Plans, organizes, and manages strategic projects for the organization delivering measurable results in areas such as customer satisfaction, business development, and operational efficiency. Responsible for developing, documenting, and working with the organization’s leaders on the methodology and tools necessary to make project management an organizational skill.

Reports to the Regional General Manager.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Drive Alignment

• Determine and define project scope and objectives
• Outlines and organizes the tasks involved in the project and delegates accordingly.
• Working with subject matter experts:
• Conducts risk assessments; reports identified risks to management
• Conducts cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project

Improve Execution

• Leads an interdepartmental team to complete an assigned project on time with accuracy and efficiency.
• Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
• Monitor project progress; provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders
• Follow-up according to project plan to ensure timely completion of action items

Accuracy

• Pays close attention to detail acting as another validation point in the process
• Tracks project costs in order to meet budget
• Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
• Perform other duties / special projects as assigned by Manager

Required Skills / Abilities / Experience

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about the project being developed
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
• 2+ years Project Management experience (Required)Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (Preferred / Not Required)
• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred / Not Required)

Physical Requirements

· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer

• Regular use of video conferencing tools

· Able to lift 15 pounds at a time
