Operations Supervisor - Overnight Shift Job at Emerald Isle Foods LLC
The Operations Supervisor runs the day-to-day operations of the warehouse primarily for Shipping/Receiving/Short Order. The Supervisor will manage the employees on the shift in a safe, efficient, and effective manner and handle any immediate problems that may arise.
Essential Job Functions:
- Supervise /motivate employees
- Organize the workflow.
- Train employees on Forklift safety/operations
- Assure safe work practices
- Handle immediate disciplinary incidents
- Enforce Company policies and procedures
- Document Worker’s Compensation incidents
- Train new hires
- Manage E-Time
- Provide proper warehouse documentation as needed
- Assists Warehouse Manager with conducting performance reviews in a timely manner.
- Handle product discrepancies/shortages/other problems
- Maintain a clean and properly stocked warehouse
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 years in shipping and receiving preferably in produce industry.
- 2 years of supervisory experience in warehouse environment
- Proficient operating stand-up, reach forklift and pallet jack.
- PC skills to include Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word and Excel
- Flexible with change in the work assignments and priorities
- Advance organization skills, strong initiative, creative advance problem-solving skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
