Optometric Technician / Medical Scribe Job at Crystal Vision Clinic
Optometric Technician / Medical Scribe - FT needed. Fast-paced optometry practice located in the western suburbs of Minneapolis is looking for an optometric technician/medical scribe to join our team. We are a privately owned business whose goals are to provide excellent customer experiences for our patients and a positive, supportive work environment for our employees.
We are seeking a highly motivated, energetic person to provide exceptional patient care. Duties include examination pretesting, phone triage, contact lens training, contact lens inventory and ordering, appointment scheduling and working alongside doctors to document patient data into electronic health records system during patient visit plus review of chart notes and correspondence daily to ensure accuracy and completeness. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping people, detailed oriented and personable. The job requires computer and technology skills, the ability to work as a team player, and the ability to multitask. Knowledge of medical terminology and experience with electronic medical records is a plus. Optometric assistant experience or scribing experience is helpful but not required. Pre-Optometry students are encouraged to apply.
