Reporting to the Nurse Manager Surgical Services, the OR Clinical Coordinator will help lead an outstanding team of qualified Registered Nurses. With the assistance of the Director, Manager, and charge nurses, this OR Clinical Coordinator will receive plenty of support. This is a great opportunity for a strong OR Nurse to take the next step in their career, or for a skilled OR Clinical Coordinator to move to a well-run and high-quality department. The Surgical Coordinator will be an essential role in the Surgical Services Department and will be responsible for maintaining the day to day flow of the department. The Coordinator will ensure patient needs are met by consulting with staff, physicians, and Department Leadership. The OR Clinical Coordinator will also assist with continuing education of the staff, know AORN standards, and coordinate staffing assignments.
