Oral Surgery Insurance Coordinator - Dallas Job at MINT dentistry
Overview:
PURE Oral Surgery is committed to providing exceptional care to our patients by the finest oral surgeons in Texas. We are looking for professional, compassionate, team players to help us grow our practice and provide the best first impression to meet the needs of our oral surgery patients. The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for following up and scheduling patients referred to PURE Oral Surgery. This role is part of a fast paced, customer focused, call center environment and requires someone with incredible communication skills, works well both independently and with a team, can multitask and prioritize needs, and is looking for a rewarding position with excellent growth opportunity. Previous oral surgery experience is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide concierge level customer service while interacting with patients over the phone or via electronic communication.
- Answer the phone promptly with a smile.
- Schedules appointments to optimize patient satisfaction, provider time and most effective use of exam and treatment rooms.
- Obtain accurate information from patients and ensure that all patient information is complete and accurate
- Enter patient information in practice management software (Open Dental)
- Market to existing patients to maintain a full schedule for office staff
- Perform other related duties as directed or assigned
- High-school diploma or equivalent
- One year of customer service experience required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new programs as required
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
- Desire and commitment to serving and helping others
- Positive attitude and ability to work effectively with a team
- Strong focus and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
