Outside Landscape Salesperson

Who we are in search of:

We are looking for an Outside Landscape Salesperson for our clients in Macomb and Oakland counties. Our ideal candidate is driven, enthusiastic, and one of the best in their field. They will be sharp, energetic, friendly and smart. They will possess the skills, talents, and knowledge to design and sell landscape and enhancement jobs.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate new relationships by providing estimates to incoming leads, as well as upselling and nurturing existing clients
  • Regularly suggest ideas for property improvement to your client list
  • Assist in performing upsell campaigns to grow and strengthen client value
  • Communicate with leads and clients via phone, email, and in person during site visits
  • Estimate, propose, and sell landscapes to existing customer base, as well as new incoming leads
  • Schedule jobs that you have sold and communicate that schedule to the client, as well as to the operations team
  • Clearly communicate job details, plans, and notes to operations team
  • Utilize our software systems to stay on top of client needs, schedule appointments, and log client interactions and requests
  • Nurture client relationships proactively, including check in calls, spot checking work, and performing quarterly property analysis visits
  • Record changes to customer accounts, updating service packages, adding accounts, and removing accounts as needed
  • Manage multiple accounts, ensuring that a high level of customer retention and satisfaction is maintained
  • Meet monthly quotas
  • Other duties as requested

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of landscape industry experience required
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience required
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of landscape materials, plant materials, and horticulture terms and techniques
  • Demonstrated ability to sell, negotiate, explain and resolve issues
  • Demonstrated knowledge of CRM systems, estimate writing, sales, spreadsheets, and technology systems
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record, required-Chauffeurs license, preferred
  • Experience in service based businesses, especially high growth situations
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task, change gears quickly, and prioritize duties
  • Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
