Job Summary:

This position reports to Vice President of Sales and is a high-level, consultative sales position which calls on Presidents, Vice Presidents of Enrollment Management and CFOs of higher education institutions. This position requires extensive product knowledge and is responsible for meeting or exceeding assigned quarterly sales quotas. Excellent prospecting skills are a must as only 25% of first appointments will be set for you by an inside sales executive. With a generous commission structure that includes renewals, this is an outstanding opportunity for a sales professional wanting uncapped earning potential.

Essential Functions:

  • Achieve revenue and sales goals assigned to you as provided by Vice-President of Sales
  • Conduct a minimum of 10 monthly presentations – demonstrating Capture’s extraordinary value to prospective higher education partner institutions
  • Attend industry events, meet with prospects and conduct virtual meetings to emphasize products and services
  • Build and foster a network of referrals to create new opportunities for revenue growth, by cold calling if necessary.
  • Ensure follow-up by passing leads to Inside Sales Executives with calls-to-action, dates, complete profile information, and other sources
  • Partner with company Technology, Data and Operations experts to demonstrate product and provide expertise in selling process
  • Develop strong proposals highlighting Capture’s expertise to meet strategic enrollment needs of potential partner institutions
  • Actively manage travel schedule to adequately cover assigned territory in a time-efficient manner
  • Maintain accurate records; including sales call reports, expense reimbursement forms, billing invoices, and other documentation
  • Assist in RFP responses
  • Capability to analyze, identify and promote opportunities for clients to use additional services relevant to their recruitment needs
  • Positive, professional, and fearless team player with ability to multitask and adapt to organizational change and shifting priorities

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Higher education sales experience is a plus but not required
  • Experience with Client Relationship Management systems
  • Strong record of establishing relationships with new accounts and hitting performance objectives
  • Able to operate in a aggressive selling environment and engage high-level decision makers
  • Must demonstrate initiative, organizational skills and the ability to set and achieve priorities
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Willingness for frequent travel, as well as flexibility to work infrequent evenings and/or weekends
  • Foster strong relationships with work colleagues and shares information and ideas to strengthen the team
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills and able to maintaining flexibility in fast-paced work environment
  • Approach challenges with a diligent work ethic and passion and leverage any and all opportunities to learn

Valued Skills and Experience:

  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 5 years experience working in higher education or as part of a sales team
  • Preferred: MBA or ED
