• Obtain and utilize all equipment, including safety equipment, necessary to complete the task, i.e. cutter, blades, feather duster, apron, etc. to meet safety standards.
• Receives merchandise from the government to be staged.
• Prepare merchandise to be placed on shelves, to increase efficiency during stocking of merchandise.
• Stock all items that will fit on the shelf according to the standards of that particular commodity to maintain a complete supply of items accessible to customers.
• Display, block, straighten and clean all merchandise as well as shelf area to maintain a presentable appearance.
• Rotate specified merchandise to ensure that the oldest date codes are in the front of the shelf area (First In - First Out).
• Remove all damaged and hazardous commodities to maintain safety standards.
• Breakdown, remove the cardboard, and trash to keep the stocking area clean of debris.
• Dump all contractor-generated cardboard.
• As needed, sorts and segregate merchandise by established plans and procedures.
• As needed, consolidate merchandise and restore after shelf-stocking evolution.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Locations: North Island, Imperial Beach, Miramar MCAS, and 32nd St. Commissary. Work Schedule may vary based on Commissary location must be available evenings 6PM to 2AM will include weekends/ holidays.

In Addition there is a Sign- on bonus for MCAS Miramar Commissary only: $2000

* Terms of payout $500 after 3 Months, $500 after 6 months, $1000 after 1 Year Anniversary*

Qualifications:

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• No prior experience or training is needed for individuals with disabilities.
• Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) Requirement that may take up to 10 business days.
