Packaging Associate Job at Red River Commodities
Red River Commodities is seeking individuals with experience in manufacturing, packaging and machine operation to join our team. We are looking for hardworking, dedicated applicants who are interested in working both Day and Swing Shift at our Colby, KS Plant.
Job Duties:
- Operate and maintain packaging & production machines
- Package and fill bags up to 50 pounds
- Maintain quality standards
- Adjust packaging and production equipment as needed to meet quality standards
Requirements:
- Ability to safely operate and maintain equipment with a high degree of precision and control in work where product quality is of the highest priority.
- Able to stand for long periods of time, do repetitive motions, work scheduled shifts and be available to work up to 7 days per week.
- Must have reliable transportation
- Able to lift 50lbs bags
- Machine operating experience, preferred but not required
- Forklift experience – preferred, not required
- Must be willing to stand for long periods of time, be on time and attend work daily
Salary:
$16.50/hr. *2nd shift is eligible for a shift differential of $2.00/hr. for hours worked between 6pm and 6am.
Shifts:*Overtime potential as production demands and shift needs allow*
- 1st Shift: 7:00am - 5:00pm
- 2nd Shift: 3:00pm - 3:00am
