The hours for this position will be 5pm - 5am four days a week, the candidate must be able to work this shift.

Position Summary

Label, package and palletize Summer Garden products. Changeover equipment is required for the job.

Primary Responsibilities

• Operate equipment required to label, package and palletize SGFM products and maintain the shrink wrapper.
• Changeover equipment required to label, package and palletize SGFM products.
• Perform quality checks in accordance with SGFM/Quality regulations.
• Clean and maintain your work area per SGFM/Quality regulations.
• Learn to use the proper tools to changeover, clean and perform quality checks.
• Properly fill out paperwork required for the job and enter it into the touch screen system.
• Follow safety regulations and procedures required by SGFM/Quality/SQF/GMP’s/OSHA regulations/Preventative Controls.
• Operate a forklift and Pallet Jack as required to move pallets around and off the lines. (In house certification will be provided)

• Frequent lifting of weights of up to 80 pounds and ability to push or pull material in excess of 80 pounds
• 1 to 3 years previous experience in product packaging preferred
• Frequently required to stand, walk and bend
• Manual dexterity with ability to reach with hands and arms
