Packing/Assembler Production Associate

Position Summary:

To package finished products using sub-assemblies, parts and fasteners per supplied prints and method sheets.

Responsibilities:

• Verifies each box has the correct number of items inside and verifies the weight to be correct using the check weighing system.
• Label and package product accurately.
• Pack product aligned to company standards using tools such as skid lifts, pallet jacks, tape machine and skid wrapper.
• Follows direction leader or supervisor.
• Cross functional partnership with Quality Control and other departments.
• Strong ability to be part of a team combined with the ability to multitask and adapt to change.
• Performs various assembly duties in one or more factory work cells including cleanroom which requires proper gowning.
• Supports business needs by working overtime and on weekends as necessary to satisfy schedule requirements.
• Maintains a clean work environment and assist in daily housekeeping as required.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of factory assembly procedures.
• Working knowledge of hand tools (pallet jacks, tape machines, and skid wrappers)
• Highly accurate and attentive detail.
• Must be able to perform repetitive assembly using hands and arms which includes bending and stretching.
• Ability to read and understand written procedures (in English).
• Ability to lift and move cartons up to 25lbs onto skids.
• Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
